Dear Friends,

Hopefully all is well with you.

The gate’s open and we’re hoping you include THCC “The Camp with a Mission” in your plans and prayers.

3rd Annual President’s Day Ice Fishing Derby and Winterblast

Some folks hibernate in the Winter, others get up, out and take full advantage of all it has to offer. Norwhich Lake has over 10 inches of ice as of Jan 26th. Plenty of folks have been ice fishing, snow mobiling and even driving on the lake. The Derby awards cash to the biggest, live Perch, Pickerel, Trout and Bass. The cost is $10 pp over 12. Registration opens at 6am at the flag. You can get your fishing license on line at: http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/licensing/index.htm
Please visit www.timothyhillcamp.org for details and please print, post and promote the flyer.

Chef John Slattery graduate of Johsnon & Wales and owner of Four Main St will again work with us to put together a great meal including appetizer, entree and dessert. This is a lot of fun for up to 15 to 20 people in the Camp’s great big kitchen.

Joey Melendez, Iraq Veteran will again take small groups out and teach hands on Winter survival techniques.

We are excited to offer not one but two nice size skating rinks. One on land for figure skating and smaller children, the second on the lake for hockey skating!

As the last two years, folks should bring their equipment for skating, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. We are asking a $5 donation for the event aside from the Ice Fishing Derby.

God’s hand continues to move throughout as ministry continues to grow around THCC. Several friends already designate their United Way contributions directly to the Camp, would you please consider doing the same?

By specifying Timothy Hill Christian Camp in Huntington Mass 01050 on your United Way Pledge form you help us to continue helping others by delivering 3,000 to 4,800lbs of food weekly from the Food Bank to our local Food Pantry, study with teenage young men at the Westfield prison facility, meet with the Regional High School Bible Club, help our neighbors and soon likely to start another Bible study at a CT Prison Facility for adults just to mention a few.

You’re also helping us to continue programming and planning for your spiritual needs at this beautiful place God has blessed us with.

There’s so much more I would like to say about how we helped Greg, Desi, Danny, Josh, Evie, Wayne and so many others over the past year and would gladly elaborate if you have any questions about how your support will add to what God is doing through His children in such a needy place.

In closing, thank you for your kindness and generosity over the past year and don’t forget you only have till the end of the month to order your special homemade apple, pumpkin or pecan pies in time for the Holidays! This is a first time fundraiser for the Camp. We plan to deliver all of the pies to 3 different drop sites TBD before Thanksgiving. Please see attached link for flyer http://timothyhillcamp.com/flyers/PieFundraiser.pdf We are asking that you fax your orders but if you want to pay via PayPal click here: http://timothyhillcamp.com/pie.php

In Him, for Him and at your service,

Jim

Please contact me with questions and keep the Camp in your prayers as our Father continues to add ministries to it.
